TECHNOTEST's testing activities aid and promote the regulatory and control functions of state institutions such as the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, The State Standardization and Metrology Agency, and the Bulgarian Customs.

TECHNOTEST participates in the work of the following technical standardization committees: TC 14 "Vehicles and Internal Combustion Engines"; TC 27 "Forklift Trucks", TC 34 "Management and Securing of Quality. Certification", and TC 64 "Electrochemical Sources of Electricity".

TECHNOTEST is a collective member of the Union of Quality Specialists in Bulgaria, of the "BULLAB" Union and of the "Club 9000" Union. Among TECHNOTEST's collaborators are: The Union of Auto Engineers in Bulgaria, The National Science and Technology Club of the Specialist in Tractors and Forklift Trucks, The National Union of Internal Combustion Engine Specialists.

TECHNOTEST is a member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The testing department of TECHNOTEST has been authorized by the Bulgarina Office for Authorization for Testing in the Republic of Bulgaria, in compliance with the requirements of BDS EN 45001 - "General Criteria for the Activities of Testing Laboratories". The company is preparing for the implementation of ISO 17025.

In February 2000, at a meeting in Leipzig, Germany together with representatives of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, a decision was reached for cooperation between TECHNOTEST and TUV - Saxonia, in the area of testing.
In April 2001, TECHNOTEST and TUV - Saxonia concluded a cooperation agreement. On 29 June 2001, TECHNOTEST was awarded the right to be represented by the name of "Partner of TUV".

In Bulgaria, TECHNOTEST is the only company specialized in stand testing. Its specific market position is brought about by its status as an authorized laboratory for transportation testing, which cooperates with state institutions, controlling transportation safety, and also participates in the building of the legislative basis for such activities.

The fact that TECHNOTEST is a partner of state institutions in the area of transportation safety, is also an opportunity to influence the lgislative basis, which helps the economic activities of the company through awarding of state contracts and participation in interdepartmental commissions on transportation and its safety.

TECHNOTEST plays a key role in the implementation of new standards and the equalization of Bulgarian national standards with European standards.
